As part of its ongoing commitment to offer all its users a broad variety of cryptoassets, Oobit is happy to announce that it is launching a number of new tokens. Now available on the Oobit platform are the following cryptoassets:

SushiSwap (SUSHI)

An integral part of the DeFi movement, SushiSwap (SUSHI) is a popular automated market maker (AMM). Through the use of smart contracts, this decentralized exchange creates markets for various trading pairs.

Uniswap (UNI)

Uniswap (UNI) is another decentralized trading protocol platform to enter our list. After launching in November 2018 the platform experienced a significant rise in value during the DeFi boom of 2020. Uniswap is currently the largest AMM in the DeFi space, falling just outside of the top 10 biggest cryptocurrencies on the market.

OMG Network (OMG)

The OMG Network (OMG), formerly known as OmiseGo, was launched in 2017 and is a non-custodial, second layer scaling solution. Designed to allow for considerably faster and cheaper transactions, OMG Network is built on top of the Ethereum blockchain and can be used for ETH and ERC-20 token standards.

DAI (DAI)

Launched in November 2019, DAI (DAI) is the “new and improved” version of SAI (Single-Collateral DAI) and is an Ethereum-based stablecoin. DAI is developed and managed by the Maker Protocol and the MakerDAO (decentralized autonomous organization) via a software protocol rendering it completely decentralized.

Shiba Inu (SHIB)

Since launching in August 2020, the cryptocurrency Shiba Inu (SHIB) has climbed the ranks to enter the top 20 biggest cryptocurrencies based on market cap. The meme-inspired coin is a self-proclaimed “Dogecoin killer” and is the native token to the platform’s decentralized exchange, ShibaSwap.

The launch of SushiSwap, Uniswap, OMG, DAI and Shiba brings the total number of cryptoassets available on Oobit to 43.
