Your virtual card in Apple Pay is protected by “Touch ID,” “Face ID,” and/or your device “Passcode.” For your security, when you make a purchase using Apple Pay, you must either use “Touch ID,” “Face ID,” or the “Passcode” for your device. All of your payment account information will be encrypted and protected within Apple’s secure environment.

All transactions completed with Apple Pay will appear in the transactions tab on the home screen of your Oobit app.

Apple Pay is accepted at over 100 million stores around the world, so you can likely use it wherever and however you want. Apple Pay works anywhere that takes contactless payments — from vending machines and grocery stores to taxis and subway stations, just look for the Apple Pay or contactless payments symbol.

Making payments through your iPhone works in the same way as making contactless payments with your debit card. You can decide yourself whether to pay using Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode.

Using Face ID:
Press the sleep/wake button on the side of your iPhone twice to launch Apple Pay, look at the screen and hold your iPhone on the payment terminal.

Using Touch ID:
Keep your finger on the Touch ID home button while holding your iPhone on the payment terminal.

Using your passcode:
Unlock your iPhone with your passcode and hold your iPhone on the payment terminal.

After setting up your Apple Pay on your iPhone and activating the Face ID / Fingerprint / passcode. Paying in store can be done with Apple Pay in two ways:

1. Double-clicking the side button on your iPhone and choose Oobit.
2. Tapping the “Pay with Apple Pay” on the Oobit App. Place the device at the terminal     and wait until you get a confirmation.

Yes! At the time of purchase Apple Pay uses a unique and coded card number to issue the payment. Your official card number is not saved on the Apple servers and transferred to third parties so your privacy is protected at every transaction. In addition, for every transaction Face ID, fingerprint or code is required.

Yes. In order to set up your Oobit account for payment you must verify your account.

No, using Apple Pay does not incur any additional costs on top of the Oobit fee.

Yes. You can use Oobit and Apple Pay anywhere that accepts contactless payments.

If you change your device to another model, you will need to add your Oobit card to Apple
Wallet in the new device again. Please ensure that you remove your virtual card from any device before selling, exchanging, or disposing of them.

If you have received an error message and are unable to complete your card provisioning onto Apple Pay, please Oobit's customer support for further assistance. However, if we are unable to complete your card provisioning due to a problem with your device ID linked to your Apple devices such as iPhones, Apple Watch and iPad, you will need to contact Apple directly.
