Objectives And Responsibilities

• Oversee and guide R&D activities and systems and lead a development team.
• Lead the design, build, and management of a secure, scalable and resilient payment system infrastructure.
• Initiate and implement enterprise architecture best practices.
• Collaborate with product management and other Oobit units to define, prioritize and execute the unit roadmap.
• Oversee and perfect the quality of code while building teams that are built for scale.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in software engineering roles, involving Full-stack or backend experience at scale, working within a fast-paced and fast-evolving environment.
• Experience in designing scalable architectures based on cloud providers.
• Strong communication skills in a highly collaborative environment.
• High Analytical and troubleshooting skills - ability to solve complex problems.
• Strong knowledge of PHP with expertise in Laravel framework and Linux-based server environments.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or related technical certificate.
• Experience with PostgreSQL database management.
• Must be fluent in English.

Job Description 

‍As the Senior Product Manager, you will oversee the development of our cutting-edge product and payment technology, manage cross-functional teams, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to achieve organizational goals, with a specific focus on the direct-to-consumer market. This role requires a leader with a strong technical background, exceptional strategic planning skills, and a proven track record of delivering results in the R&D domain, specifically within the context of direct-to-consumer products.

Responsibilities

• Play a “hands-on” key role and be responsible for our strategic product areas.
• Work with users, and internal parties to understand, map, and prioritize partners and user needs.
• Lead the development process.
• Perform market research.
• Search for new opportunities and provide value to our users.
• Drive the product planning and design process to help translate the needs and vision into a solid product that performs, scales, and is easy to use.
• Work closely with the engineering team to redefine product workflows and help make tradeoff decisions.
• Help communicate the product benefits and functionality to internal team members and outside parties.

Requirements

• A top-talented, experienced product manager with a proven background in B2C products (4+ years).
• Proven experience in mobile applications both iOS and Android. 
• User obsessed, live and breath innovation. Create users feedback and partnering with them to inform the product discovery process.
• Passionate about creating and building new products.
• A leader who enjoys being responsible and having a sense of ownership over the created product.
• Solid executer - you can see the finish line and be able to articulate a clear path to get there.
• A Product manager with a proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
• Good understanding of data and data reporting how to interpret it to improve products.
• Fluent or very proficient in English.
• Previous FinTech experience - A significant advantage.
• You have a hands-on state of mind - a must!
