This guide walks you through creating an Oobit account and completing identity verification, so you can start using all features of the app.
Sign up with your details to create your Oobit account.
Enter the verification code sent to your phone. Once verified, Oobit automatically starts your identity verification process.
Oobit will open a secure verification flow where you'll need to submit:
You can verify your identity with any one of the following:
Make sure your document is valid (not expired) and that the photo is clear, uncropped, and glare-free.
If asked, you'll answer a few quick questions about how you plan to use Oobit. Most questions have multiple-choice answers to pick from:
Once submitted, your documents are reviewed. This is usually quick, but can occasionally take longer if additional checks are needed. Once verified, you're all set and can use Oobit.
If you want to send money via bank transfer, you'll need to complete one extra step: providing a proof of address (POA). This is separate from your main verification above and won't affect your existing account status.
