Oobit has added native support for Phantom Wallet, enabling more than 15 million users to make real world payments with Oobit's crypto card directly from their wallet anywhere Visa is accepted.
The integration closes a long standing gap in crypto adoption. Blockchains became fast. Wallets became intuitive. But spending in everyday life remained out of reach. With Phantom Wallet now enabled through Oobit, crypto moves from holding to real world use.
Users can now pay with crypto online and in store directly from Phantom Wallet without pre funding, without bridges, and without giving up custody. Funds remain fully under user control until the moment a payment is approved. Transactions are executed directly from the wallet, converted to local currency, and settled instantly to the merchant through existing payment rails. No merchant onboarding is required.
Phantom Wallet serves more than 15 million users globally and is one of the most widely trusted self custody wallets in crypto. The launch allows these users to spend their digital assets in everyday scenarios such as retail, travel, food, and online purchases.
Oobit has already seen strong momentum in markets where stablecoin usage is shifting from holding to spending. The solution is live in the United States, Brazil, Philippines, South Korea, Thailand, and more than 50 additional countries.
