Do I need to move my crypto into Oobit?
No. Oobit connects directly to your existing wallet. You stay in full control of your assets until the moment of payment.
Do I need to verify my account to use Oobit?
Yes. Verification is required to meet global compliance standards and to unlock all payment and transfer features.
Which cryptocurrencies does Oobit support?
Oobit supports USDC, USDT, BNB, USDR, EURR, BTC, DOGE, ETH, SOL, TRX, XRP, XTZ, TON, VET, XAUT, LTC, XLM, TRUMP, ADA, BCH, and SHIB for payments and transfers.
What documents do I need for verification?
You will need a valid government-issued photo ID such as a passport or driver’s license and sometimes proof of address depending on your country.
Is Oobit safe to use?
Yes. Oobit follows strict global compliance standards, uses bank grade encryption, and ensures that your assets remain under your control until the payment is processed.
How do I start using Oobit?
Download the Oobit app from the App Store or Google Play, connect your wallet, complete verification, and start paying or sending instantly.
How long does verification take?
Most accounts are verified within a few minutes, but in some cases it can take up to 24 hours if additional checks are needed.
How can I add funds to my Oobit account?
You can buy crypto in the Oobit app with a credit card starting from 10 USD or transfer supported cryptocurrencies from your existing wallet or exchange.
Why was my verification rejected?
Your verification may be rejected if the documents are expired, unclear, or do not match your account details. You can re-submit the correct documents directly in the app.
Is Oobit available in my country?
Oobit is available in most countries worldwide and continues to expand every month.
Not supported in: Afghanistan, Belarus, Central African Republic, China, Cuba, Ethiopia, Hong Kong, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Mali, Myanmar, Nicaragua, North Korea, Russia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, Yemen.
If I do not have a wallet, can I still use Oobit?
Yes. Oobit allows you to create a built-in wallet during setup so you can start paying, sending, and receiving crypto right away. You can also connect an external wallet at any time.
Where can I pay with Oobit?
Anywhere Visa is accepted. This includes in store payments, online checkouts, travel, subscriptions, and everyday purchases .
Can I pay online with Oobit?
Yes. Oobit works at any online checkout where Visa is accepted. Simply use your Oobit virtual card and the crypto is converted at the time of payment.
Can I send money internationally with Oobit?
Yes. You can send stablecoins or crypto instantly to friends, family, or businesses worldwide without banks with zero fees.

How much does it cost to use Oobit?
Creating your account, transferring money, and getting paid are always free. If a fee applies, it will always be shown clearly in your receipt or confirmation. Payments with Oobit cost up to 1% (minimum $0.25). Oobit uses USD as the base currency, and when you spend in another currency the conversion happens automatically at a competitive rate—see the settlement flow for how the on-chain payment maps to card rails. A small international transaction fee may apply.
What are the maximum spending limits on Oobit?
These are the maximum spending limits with Oobit:
- Daily limit: Up to 5,000 USD per day
These limits may be updated from time to time. If any changes occur, we’ll notify you in the app and in the Terms of Use.
What is the difference between Oobit and a crypto debit card?
Oobit works directly from your existing wallet without requiring you to preload funds. It lets you tap to pay in-store or pay online instantly anywhere Visa is accepted while keeping custody of your assets until payment.
How fast are Oobit payments?
Payments are processed in seconds. Transfers are instant or near-instant depending on the blockchain network.
Can merchants accept Oobit without changing their system?
Yes. Any merchant that accepts Visa payments can accept Oobit with no extra setup.
Can I pay with Bitcoin?
Yes, Oobit allows you to pay with Bitcoin wherever Visa is accepted.
Can I pay with Ethereum?
Yes, Oobit allows you to pay with Ethereum wherever Visa is accepted.
Which wallets can I use with DePay?
DePay works with any major self-custody wallet. You can connect today to MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Phantom and very soon to Base, Binance Wallet, and other compatible on-chain wallets through Oobit’s wallet-agnostic connection layer. If your wallet supports standard signing requests, you’re good to go.
Which cryptocurrencies and networks are supported?
You can pay today using assets on Ethereum (ERC-20), on BNB Smart Chain, Solana, and Polygon, with more networks coming next. DePay automatically handles conversions through our smart contract engine, so you can pay with the tokens you already hold.
Do I need to deposit funds into Oobit before paying with DePay?
No deposits, no pre-funding, no friction. With DePay, your crypto stays in your own wallet until the moment you authorize the transaction. The transfer happens securely on-chain, directly from your wallet to Oobit’s settlement layer—just in time for the payment.
Do I need to worry about gas fees when paying with DePay?
No. DePay includes a gas abstraction module that makes payments feel gasless. Even though the transaction settles on-chain, Oobit handles the complexity in the background, giving you a clean, consumer-grade checkout experience - no network juggling or gas top-ups.
Where can I pay using DePay?
Anywhere Visa or Mastercard is accepted - online, in-store, and globally. Your on-chain payment is instantly bridged to traditional card rails, letting you spend crypto at more than 150 million merchants worldwide.
Which cryptocurrencies can I send to a bank account?
You can send to a bank account using any cryptocurrency supported in Oobit.
Which fiat currencies can the recipient receive?
Recipients can receive funds in the following currencies:
USD (US residents only), EUR, GBP, INR, TRY, NGN, IDR, PHP, ARS, BRL, MXN, PKR.
Which countries are supported?
We support bank transfers to sending from 100+ countries worldwide. Receiving side is limited to the supported currencies listed above.
The available options depend on the recipient’s country and local banking system. You’ll see the supported countries and currencies directly in the app when adding a recipient.
How long does it take for the money to reach the bank account?
Most transfers arrive within seconds via fast local payment rails.
In some cases, transfers may take longer depending on the destination country, currency, banking hours, or additional compliance checks.
What are the fees?
A fee of 1% applies with a minimum charge of 4.99 USD. The higher amount applies.
What if the transfer is delayed or failed?
If a transfer fails, your funds are automatically refunded to your Oobit balance.
If a transfer is delayed, you can track its status in your transaction history. Delays may happen due to bank processing times or compliance reviews.
What is the minimum transfer amount?
Minimum amounts depend on the destination currency:

What is the maximum transfer amount?
The maximum per transfer is $50,000 USD.
Why is proof of address required?
Before your first bank transfer, you’ll need to complete a one-time proof of address verification.
This is required to meet regulatory and compliance requirements for bank payouts.
What is the referral reward?
Refer a friend. Once they spend $50 with their Oobit card, you both get rewarded!
Tap & Pay is not working. What should I do?
Make sure your Oobit card is added to Apple Pay or Google Pay and set as the default payment method. Check that your device supports contactless payments and that the terminal accepts them. If the issue continues, remove and re-add the card in your wallet app.
When are cashback and rewards granted?
Cashback and other rewards are granted only after your payment is fully completed. This process may take 1–3 days.
How do I claim cashback and rewards?
Referral rewards will be added to your balance once the referred user has completed a minimum of $100 in eligible Oobit card transactions. Your referral link can be used up to 5 times. After that, it will expire and can no longer be used. Rewards unlock once your friend completes $100 in Oobit card payments.
Is there a limit to cashback rewards?
Yes. Your monthly cashback cap depends on the token you pay with.
Once you reach your monthly limit, you’ll stop earning additional cashback until the next month, when the cap resets automatically.
My transaction was declined. Why?
Check that you have enough balance in your wallet and that the merchant accepts Visa. Review the in app notification for details and try again.
How do I set up Oobit with Apple Pay or Google Wallet?
Open the Oobit app, go to your card settings, and follow the prompts to add it to Apple Pay or Google Wallet. Once added, you can pay anywhere Visa is accepted.
Why is my deposit not showing?
Deposits may take time depending on the blockchain network. Check the transaction status in your external wallet or exchange and confirm you used the correct Oobit deposit address.
Why did my withdrawal fail?
Withdrawals can fail if the wallet address is invalid or the network is congested. You can retry after fixing the issue.
My app keeps crashing. How can I fix it?
Ensure your app is updated to the latest version, clear your device cache, and restart your phone. If the issue continues, reinstall the app.
I did not receive the verification email. What should I do?
Check your spam or junk folder, then request a new email from the app. Make sure you entered the correct email address during signup.
I see “details already used” when creating my account. How do I fix this?
This means your email or phone number is already linked to an existing account. Log in with those details or contact support through the app.
